Now that I’ve been in my current job for more than a year, here is a shot list of things I hated in my old job that I am initiating in my newer one.

Over the last few months, I’ve written a user guide, test plan, and release notes. At least the test plan and release notes were for my apps.

Trying to push my boss, to adopt agile and use the project management tools in Visual Studio Online.

Writing weekly status incredibly detailed status reports to my boss.

Lastly and hardest of all, using exchange to schedule ad hoc and regular meetings.

BTW, any corporate drones who think these are not a big deal, should try working in the real world.
